Tajweed is learned by ear before it is learned from a book. In this course you study each rule, then apply it immediately while your teacher listens and corrects you in real time — which is why online one-to-one lessons work far better than videos or apps for this subject.

Who This Course Is For

Students who can read the Quran but want their recitation to be accurate, and anyone preparing for Ijazah. Also suitable for parents who want to correct their own recitation before teaching their children.

How Lessons Work

Every lesson is one-to-one and live with a certified Al-Azhar teacher, held on Zoom or Google Meet. Sessions run 30, 45 or 60 minutes, and you choose the days and times that suit your family. You can request a male or female teacher, and change teacher at any point at no cost.
