Quran Reading Course Online

This course takes a complete beginner from recognising Arabic letters to reading the Quran fluently. We use the Noorani Qaida — the proven step-by-step method used in traditional Quran schools for generations — adapted for live online lessons.

What You'll Learn

• Recognise and pronounce all 28 Arabic letters in every position
• Read short and long vowels, sukoon, shaddah and tanween correctly
• Join letters into words and words into full verses
• Apply the first essential Tajweed rules while you read
• Read from the Mushaf independently by the end of the course

Who This Course Is For

Complete beginners of any age from 4 years upwards, and anyone who reads slowly or hesitantly and wants to rebuild their foundation properly. Most students who study two to three times a week read basic Quran within three to six months.

How Lessons Work

Every lesson is one-to-one and live with a certified Al-Azhar teacher, held on Zoom or Google Meet. Sessions run 30, 45 or 60 minutes, and you choose the days and times that suit your family. You can request a male or female teacher, and change teacher at any point at no cost.
