Job description
Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine laboratory operations in a coatings laboratory setting. Preform basic coating lab work, making paint and panels/ testing paint and panels to standard methods
Responsibilities:
* Preparing coated samples
* Routine physical testing of the coatings
* Making color measurements according to standard procedures.
* Assists higher level technicians and chemists in execution of experiments and lab procedures.
* May perform routine and safety checks and preventive maintenance on some lab equipment.
Requirements:
* High school Diploma / GED
* Lab technician training or prior experience are preferred.
* Entry-level position
* Good interpersonal skills
* Team player
