Job Description

Relate Search is partnering with a growing Texas-based general contractor to add a hands-on Junior Project Manager to their Commercial team in North Texas.

As Junior Project Manager, you will work with Senior Project Managers and ownership to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of commercial construction projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, teams, and client relationships, ensuring all projects are delivered to scope, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with leadership to lead and manage the successful delivery of commercial construction projects.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring adherence to schedule and financial targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and services necessary for the successful completion of projects.
  • Prepare regular reports on project status, including financials, schedules, and resource management.
  • Coordinate project meetings and communicate with all stakeholders to keep projects on track.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • 2 years minimum experience in construction, preferably with hands on or commercial experience.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, project management methodologies, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar tools).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks.
