  • Worksite Location: Avon, MN | Onsite
  • Compensation: $21 per hour
  • Contract : 6-months + possibility to extend

What you’ll do as the Supply Chain Assistant:

  • Provide support performing activities such as, but not confined to, ERP data entry, creating purchase orders, processing invoices, and other administrative duties
  • Use purchasing, planning, and material management software to organize and track material, equipment, and maintenance parts
  • Responsible for setting up and updating equipment in the ERP system
  • Work closely with equipment buyers to generate purchase orders to manage and track third-party equipment needs
  • Retrieve, review, and process vendors' invoices
  • Accurately code invoices to ensure prompt payment to vendors
  • Support the department’s need for ongoing invoice review and processing for payment
  • Work with teams or other individuals on special projects, per request
  • Actively engage team members to lend help in balancing the workload of duties outlined above

What you’ll bring to the Supply Chain Assistant role:

  • Two-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related degree; or equivalent combinations of education and work experience
  • 2+ years of administrative, database, or other office experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One is beneficial
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and must be detail-oriented
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask with frequent changes
  • Ability to work independently while managing and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to learn new software systems and achieve proficiency in each
  • Must be able to maintain confidential information and act in a professional manner
