Overview:

The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing service operations, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction. This role provides leadership to a team of Service Technicians, guiding workflow, coaching performance, and supporting continuous improvement in service delivery and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Service Technicians, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high performance
• Oversee dispatching, job organization, and preparation of materials and parts
• Support service sales and help develop customer proposals and contracts
• Drive a safety-first culture and promote service excellence and margin improvement
• Provide technical training and onboarding for new hires
• Monitor and improve service processes to enhance quality and reduce costs
• Occasionally perform fieldwork to support technicians and strengthen customer relationships
• Participate in 24-hour emergency service coverage as needed
• Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives and process improvements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in field service management
• Minimum 5 years of previous work experience in a technical service role in the boiler industry
• Experience in dispatch, quoting, and customer service
• Proven leadership and team development skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; valid driver’s license required
• Technical diploma or equivalent experience preferred

Pay and Benefits:

• 100,000 - 130,000 Per Year
