Senior Commercial Credit Analyst –Coral Gables, FL

FinTrust Connect has partnered with a leading regional financial services company that is expanding its commercial credit operations and seeking a Senior Commercial Credit Analyst in Miami/Coral Gables, FL. This role is responsible for analyzing and underwriting more complex commercial loans while supporting Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers in managing customer relationships.

• Function: Perform advanced financial statement spreading, credit renewals, annual reviews, and loan analysis across CRE and C&I portfolios

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of related experience in Banking, Credit Analysis, Loan Review, or Underwriting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Credit Analyst I or equivalent preferred
• 3+ years of exposure to bank operations and commercial lending processes
• Proven ability to evaluate and provide commentary on financial performance, leases, appraisals, budgets, projections, guarantor documents, tax returns, cash flows, ratios, and repayment capacity

Description:

• Prepare credit analyses for commercial borrowers, guarantors, and prospects, including CRE and C&I loans
• Perform timely financial statement spreading, new loan requests, renewals, annual reviews, and covenant monitoring
• Conduct industry research and ensure compliance with loan policy and risk management standards
• Develop credit approval documentation covering loan terms, collateral, covenants, exposure, and loan grading
• Partner with Portfolio Managers to monitor assigned commercial loan portfolios
• Participate in internal credit discussions with senior management and external meetings with clients and prospects
