Job Description

Based in Hollywood, FL, Sintavia, LLC designs and additively manufactures critical components for the Aerospace, Defense, & Space industry.

We are seeking a career-minded individual for the position of Quality Engineer III, preferably someone who is looking for long-term growth and potential. In addition to the job description below, candidates must possess an eye for detail and the ability to multi-task at a quick pace.

SUMMARY: Ensuring products meet customer requirements utilizing 3D CAD skills to create dimensional inspection reports from structured light scans, CMM and X-Ray tomography data.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating structured light scan inspection templates utilizing GOM.
  • Reviewing and interpreting CMM and X-Ray tomography data.
  • Direct involvement with maintaining AS9100 standards and other quality accreditations.
  • Align process documentation with process capabilities.
  • Review of AM build documentation to assess product quality
  • Analyze and implement customer requirements into existing systems and processes.
  • Provides technical assistance to inspection areas and additive manufacturing teams.
  • Participate in design reviews, development and support of PFMEA / Control Plans.
  • Interact with customers, suppliers, designers, and others to assist in resolving design, development, production, and acceptance issues.
  • Provide technical consultation to management and lead project teams.
  • Assist in other tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at various levels across the company and customers.
  • Self-motivated, able to multi-task, and detail oriented.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of GD&T.

Background checks will be completed on all candidates considered for hire.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of design CAD experience within manufacturing.
  • Easily adapt to new organizations / technical environments.

PREFERRED:

  • AS9100 or ISO9001 work environment experience
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in a technical or related field.
