Are you a hands-on operations leader ready to make a lasting impact in a mission-driven manufacturing environment? Our manufacturing/distribution client is looking for an Operations Manager to join our senior leadership team and take charge of day-to-day operations at our New Haven, VT facility.

As a key member of our management team, you’ll oversee production, field operations, safety, quality, and facility management—ensuring our systems and teams are aligned for growth, efficiency, and long-term success.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage production, field, warehouse, and project teams; hire, train, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Oversee inventory, shipping targets, parts management, and capital assets like fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Optimize operational systems (NetSuite, Bright) for service and support functions.
• Schedule and coordinate field service and installations to ensure responsive, efficient coverage.
• Drive operational reporting, performance monitoring, and cross-departmental alignment.
• Serve as Safety Officer—manage compliance (OSHA/VOSHA), training, incident reporting, and regulatory programs.
• Maintain and improve SOPs, quality controls, and documentation processes.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and company leadership to meet strategic goals.
• Communicate openly and build trust across internal teams and external partners.

🎯 What You Bring

• 5+ years of operations and team leadership experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Bachelor's degree
• Solid understanding of Lean practices, quality, safety, compliance, and cross-functional operations.
• Familiarity with engineering principles; hands-on comfort with tools and equipment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• A collaborative, ethical, and transparent leadership style.
