Medical Billing and Collections Representative
(Commercial, Out-of-Network, and Vein Procedure Experience)

In this position, you’ll be the go-to expert for managing the full collections cycle for vein-related procedures such as ablations, sclerotherapy, and phlebectomy. You’ll work directly with commercial carriers, resolving out-of-network reimbursement issues, negotiating fair payments, and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding claims. Your ability to navigate payer policies, advocate for proper reimbursement, and keep up with coding requirements will directly impact both our patients and our practice.
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. You’ll work closely with management, coding teams, and providers to ensure accurate billing for vein services, while also building strong relationships with patients to explain their financial responsibilities and set up workable payment plans. Every day will bring new challenges, from appealing denials and correcting discrepancies to reconciling payments and producing reports for leadership. This is a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment where your contributions will truly make a difference.
We’re looking for someone with 3–5 years of medical billing and collections experience, preferably with direct exposure to commercial insurance carriers and out-of-network claim resolution. Prior experience with vascular billing and vein procedure coding is highly valued. Technical proficiency in billing software and EHR systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to problem-solve under pressure are essential for success in this role.

In accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act, this role falls within Pay Grade 7 of the 2025 OPM Salary Table for the NY, NJ, CT, and PA region. Compensation is commensurate with experience and education.
