Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage maintenance and facilities functions in a fast-paced, high-volume Tier 1 automotive plant.

What you will do:

• Provides direct supervision to maintenance employees over 3 shifts.? Responsibilities include hiring, performance management, training, corrective action, recognition and discipline/discharge
• Establishes standards and policies for installation, modification, testing, operating procedure, inspection and maintenance of equipment such as the fire loop, emergency generator, compressors, power distribution, HVAC, process water, argon system, plumbing, production equipment, fork truck fleet, grounds and general facilities
• Directs maintenance of plant buildings and coordinates requirements for new designs, surveys and maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery

What is required:

• Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable and able to focus on task at hand
• Possess strong time management and leadership skills
• Ability to set up and operate a variety of machine tools
• Ability to use hand or power tools
• Ability to weld metal parts, components or structures; able to use TIG welding equipment
• High school diploma or GED. Associates Degree preferred
• Must possess or will be required to develop a good understanding of the Quality System and TS-16949 & ISO 14001 regulations
• Good computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Microsoft Project experience is required
