Horticulture Specialist – Evergreen Expertise | Merrill, WI

Full-Time | $20.50–$21.50/hr | Hands-on, Outdoors, Growth-Oriented

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and manage soil health, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control
• Diagnose plant issues and provide treatment solutions
• Oversee planting, pruning, and evergreen care with expert-level precision
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to optimize growing cycles and production
• Train and support farm crew on horticultural techniques
• Maintain nursery spaces and contribute to layout planning
• Lead crop rotations and assist in evergreen propagation

What You Bring:

• Degree or certification in Horticulture, Plant Science, or relevant field—or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong working knowledge of evergreens and seasonal plant care
• Experience in nursery work, crop production, or landscape management
• Bilingual Spanish-English is a plus
• A keen eye for plant health, attention to detail, and willingness to get dirty!
• Valid driver’s license and ability to relocate to or commute daily to Merrill, WI
