We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our healthcare client’s finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in providing financial analysis, reporting, and strategic insights that support growth and profitability. You will work closely with sales, operational, and executive teams to monitor financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and assist in driving value creation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Financial Reporting and Analysis

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for business, ensuring clarity on key performance metrics, variances, and trends
  • Prepare and analyze monthly revenue to support month-end close process
  • Evaluate new revenue contracts and budgets and maintain budgets in the contract management system
  • Develop detailed forecasts and budgeting models that encompass sales, revenue, operational expenses, capital investments and cash flows
  • Present financial results and strategic recommendations to finance leadership team and other business stakeholders, identifying areas for optimization and cost management
  • Provide financial insights to support communication with private equity stakeholders, ensuring alignment on financial goals and value creation initiatives
  • Leverage financial software and tools to automate reporting and improve data analysis efficiency

Cost Management & Operational Efficiency

  • Perform cost analyses across sites to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost-saving initiatives
  • Evaluate staffing models to ensure balance of work and support efficient staffing

Financial Modeling & Forecasting

  • Build financial models to assess the financial viability of new contracts, new denovo sites and/or acquisitions, partnerships, service line expansions, or capital expenditures
  • Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis to assess the potential financial outcomes of various strategic initiatives

Strategic Financial Support

  • Work closely with finance leadership to develop financial strategies that align with the overall growth objectives of the organization
  • Assist in evaluating new opportunities and performance improvements across the portfolio, contributing to overall site growth and profitability
  • Leverage financial software and tools to automate reporting and improve data analysis efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • MBA, CPA, or CFA is preferred, but not required
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in private equity-backed healthcare organizations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, data analysis, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
