Entry-Level HR Assistant

About the Role and Our Client:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Entry-Level HR Assistant to join a dynamic HR team at a growing company in Cleveland, OH. In this role, you will support the day-to-day HR operations, assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement activities, and gain valuable hands-on experience in various HR functions. • Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
• Support new hire onboarding, including document preparation and orientation coordination.
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
• Help with employee engagement initiatives and company-wide events.
• Assist with benefits administration and other HR-related tasks.
• Support payroll processing and timekeeping.
• Manage HR filing systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Provide administrative support for various HR projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Location & Compensation:

• On-site position in Independence, OH.
• Salary range: $45,000 - $50,000, depending on experience.
• Benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.
