Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate an electric pallet jack to transport pallets of fresh produce and packaged goods throughout the warehouse

• Accurately pick, stage, and load orders according to pick tickets or scanning system instructions

• Ensure products are handled with care to prevent damage and maintain food safety standards

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections on equipment to ensure safe and efficient functioning

• Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and OSHA standards

• Assist with inventory counts and product rotation (FIFO – First In, First Out)

• Work in refrigerated environments (34°F – 45°F) for extended periods

• Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow

• Follow company safety policies and report any equipment or safety concerns immediately

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• At least 6 months of experience operating an electric pallet jack in a warehouse or distribution setting

• Ability to work in cold storage environments and lift up to 50 lbs frequently

• Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems or RF scanners is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed

Work Environment:

• Cold, wet, and fast-paced warehouse environment

• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods

• Exposure to refrigerated temperatures and moving machinery
