Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Emergency Department Registrar responsible for efficiently registering and admitting patients in a healthcare setting. This role involves verifying demographic information, collecting insurance details, and assisting patients throughout their visit. The position requires working both at the front desk and bedside within the Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Check in patients and verify demographic information.
• Gather detailed insurance information and perform any possible pre-collections.
• Admit patients both at the desk and bedside in the Emergency Department.
• Provide comprehensive registration services in various hospital settings.
• Assist patients from presentation for care until hand-off to clinical staff.

Skills

• Knowledge of insurance processes.
• Registration experience in a healthcare setting.
• Comfortable in a patient-facing role.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Experience with ED registration and recent EPIC experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Individuals must be willing to work with urgency and have the capability to move frequently within the Emergency Department.

Schedule/Shift

• 630am - 230pm with Mondays and Tuesdays off.
• 6am-2pm with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.
