Job Description

Data Entry Clerk – Full-Time (Hybrid after Training)

Location: Newark, NJ

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Overview:

LHH is seeking a highly detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our client's administrative team. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately enter, update, and maintain information across multiple systems and databases. This position requires strong attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and update data into multiple databases with speed and accuracy
  • Review data for errors or inconsistencies and make corrections as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
  • Perform routine data quality checks and audits to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Generate reports and assist with general data management tasks
  • Respond to inquiries and tickets through the ServiceNow platform in a timely manner
  • Track frequently asked questions (FAQ) received through the system
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding data-related issues

Schedule & Work Environment:

  • Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Hybrid schedule available after training (2 days remote per week)
  • Must be able to work on-site at either of two Newark locations as needed
  • Parking available ($195/semester)

Qualifications:

  • Prior data entry or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain accuracy while working with large volumes of data
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
