Founding Content Writer

Virio is building the next-generation B2B GTM stack. If you’re not sure what that means, that’s okay. All you need to know is that we went from 0 to $500k ARR in 90 days while in stealth and are assembling a team of all-stars. We are now gearing up to break records and go from $1M - $100M in less than a year. 

This is not content marketing. This is narrative building where you are the storyteller. We are looking for a world-class storyteller to help shape the way our clients — founders, CEOs, and market leaders — show up online.

Your words will change how people perceive a company, a category, a founder, a team.

You will write for the voices of exceptional leaders building the future of AI, enterprise software, fintech, sustainability, and more.

What You’ll Do

• Write founder-first narrative content – LinkedIn text posts, short-form stories, narrative-driven video scripts
• Interview founders and leaders – extract their voice, insights, and sharpest thinking
• Shape category narratives – help clients tell a bigger story about their market and why they will win
• Craft hooks, pacing, story arcs – write content that captures attention, drives engagement, and positions clients as true thought leaders
• Use AI tools to augment your research and writing process – you will move fast and scale sharp thinking
• Constantly study platform trends – what’s working on LinkedIn and adjacent platforms → you will be expected to know and evolve with the space
• Collaborate closely with Account Managers and clients – you will have a direct seat at the table in shaping outcomes
• Experiment relentlessly – this space is moving fast → new formats, new angles, new narrative techniques → you will help us stay ahead

Who You Are

• Social content obsessed – You know how to write a great hook, stop the scroll, and write in the style of top LinkedIn creators.
• Trend-driven – You are constantly studying trends and know what content works now → not 6 months ago.
• Strong writing foundation – You have a background in journalism, ghostwriting, copywriting, or editing - you know how to tell stories, structure narratives, and write clearly.
• AI-native – You already use AI writers, video editors, or other tools to scale your content process.
• Scrappy and adaptable – You can work in a fast-moving, evolving startup → priorities shift fast here.
• Portfolio over resume – We don’t care how many years you’ve done this — we care what you can write now. Expect to share samples.
• Comfortable with client-facing work – You’ll interact with clients to understand their brand and tone.

Bonus Points

• Experience growing large social followings (LinkedIn preferred, other platforms a plus).
• Experience writing for founders or B2B leaders.
• Deep familiarity with LinkedIn trends, formats, and top creator content.
• Journalism background from a top writing program (NYU, Berkeley, etc.).
• Experience building content systems inside an agency or fast-scaling startup.
