About Right Rudder Marketing

Right Rudder Marketing is the premier digital marketing agency for flight schools, growing and scaling aviation businesses with innovative marketing and a passion for aviation. Our team thrives on creativity, speed, and results. Join us to make waves in the aviation industry!

The Opportunity

This is an entry level position with an opportunity to grow into other roles like executive assistant or key account manager. We have given pay raises / promotions to all of our team members within a year of working with us. We are a small company and things are moving fast! If you recently graduated or are looking for a career change in marketing or aviation, this opportunity is for you.

We’re looking for someone professional, eager, trainable, creative and passionate. You’ll team up with our CEO on client calls, create eye-catching social media content, and join us at trade shows and client visits across the country. We will not review any applications that use the LinkedIn Easy Apply function. You must send an email to info at right rudder marketing dot com with the subject line of “I enjoy listening to” and add whatever music genre, artist or podcast you’re currently into.

What You’ll Do

  • Client Call Support : Prepare data, reports, and presentations for monthly client meetings, joining the CEO to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Content Creation : Capture and edit videos/photos at trade shows and client visits (including cross-country flights to flight schools); create engaging social media posts. Help with creating and reviewing designs and copywriting for clients.
  • Travel : Accompany the CEO to aviation trade shows and client meetings, assisting with logistics and content capture. We occasionally fly in rented small planes (Cessna 172/182, Piper 28) to visit prospects and clients.
  • Customer Engagement : Handle inbound calls/emails, respond to customer inquiries, and book appointments.
  • Operational Support : Assist with coordinating the ops team, scheduling tasks, and keeping projects on track.

Who You Are

  • Organized, proactive, and eager to learn, with a knack for multitasking.
  • Comfortable with occasional travel (including cross-country flights).
  • Familiar with or excited to learn video editing, photography, and social media tools (e.g., Canva, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong communicator with a customer-first mindset.
  • Tech-savvy, comfortable with Google Workspace, CRMs, or scheduling tools (training provided).
  • Passionate about aviation or eager to immerse yourself in the flight school industry.
  • No degree required, but having a degree makes you more competitive—bring your skills, energy, and (if available) a portfolio of creative work.
  • Must be based in St. Louis, MO, with a reliable internet connection and a quiet home office setup for hybrid work.

Why Join Us?

  • Work with a passionate, aviation-obsessed team transforming flight school across the country.
  • Gain hands-on experience in aviation, content creation, marketing, and operations.
  • Travel to exciting aviation events and grow with a company that lives by our core values of “HIGH SPEED”.
  • Opportunity to grow into more senior roles.
  • Hybrid remote / in person work environment.
